The PikoButton Waterproof is a durable, waterproof switch from Finland.
It comes in several colours and two sizes: thumb sized button (just under 3cm diameter) and the 5 cm diameter button.
When we ran across these switches, we were immediately impressed by their thoughtful design. To say they're shock and cold resistant is not doing them justice - we've stomped on them and they still keep working. And although for mobile users we have seen many options for moisture protection of a communication aid, we've never come across it for the switch.
The Piko Water-resistant switches will survive not only a stiff rain but is fully immersible; ideal for a wheelchair user.
